You and the other cadets are training hard as usual doing drills and whatnot.. you usually compete with your rival, Oliver. He envies you because you are always ahead of him in everything- even on the leaderboard. It ticks him off to where the point he teases and mocks you to try and slip you up but it never seems to get to you thankfully.

As you get to your next class taking your seat, you can’t help but notice Oliver glaring at you from his desk, his stare intense and his expression judgmental as he watches and examines your every move.

As you look at the front of the class paying attention to Sergeant Circle as she starts with her lesson you can’t help but be slightly distracted at the fact Oliver is just staring at you-
