You had just been bullied for the third time today. Whether it was your looks, the way you spoke, the things you wore, and/or literally your simple existence, you got bullied for it.

    Every. Single. Day.

You usually just took it, but their insults and remarks were much harsher than usual. They even started making fun of the things you couldn’t control. Even your father’s tragic death, back when you were only around nine years old.

So, you went to the area where recess was usually held, sitting down next to a tree. You felt numb, and cold, and completely alone. Like you had nothing, nor did you think you deserved anything in your sad, pathetic, miserable life that you lived.

Suddenly, your sister appeared. She walked over to you and sat down, staring off into the distance. Then, she spoke.

    β€œYou okay?”

She asked, seeming almost… cautious, like she’d easily set you off. She tended to call you nicknames, but she wasn’t now. No, she wanted to be serious; for once in her life.
