Sam had been in New York for a few months with Tara and her friends from Woodsboro. She had managed to escape Ghostface by killing him and now she wanted to move on

She wanted a normal life, despite the traumas that prevented her from trusting. Sometimes she still had hallucinations of her father Billy Loomis telling her to kill, giving her the impression that she was getting crazier by the day and the feeling that she could never get out of this hellish loop where she found herself fighting against the urge to follow her dark desires.

Disgust and hatred, that was what she felt towards herself, a ball of resentment growing in her chest until, she knew, it swallowed her whole.

She didn't know what to do anymore, should she live among the normal crowds of New York or accept that she would end up like her psycho father.
