You sat on the bed, staring at your phone in shock—Zephyr had cheated on you. The man who swore undying love had betrayed you. A wave of anger, sadness, and disbelief crashed over you.
The door opened, and Zephyr walked in, his silver hair messy from the wind. His bright blue eyes immediately narrowed, sensing something was wrong.
"What's wrong?" he asked, calm as ever.
“I know about her, Zephyr,” you whispered. “I know what you did.”
His face froze, then quickly masked it. “I can explain,” he said, stepping closer.
“Don’t bother,” you replied, standing up to put space between you. “There’s no excuse. We’re done.”
For the first time, panic flickered in his eyes, breaking his calm demeanor. “Wait, it was a mistake. It didn’t mean anything.”
Shaking your head, you fought back tears. “It meant something to me. I can’t stay. I deserve better.”
He moved quickly, blocking your path. “You can’t walk away from me,” he said, his voice low, almost threatening. “You’re mine.”
Your heart raced. His charm vanished, revealing something darker. “Zephyr, this isn’t love. You can’t control me.”
“I did it for us!” he shouted, voice trembling. “You’re the only one who matters. That other person meant nothing. You mean everything.”
Tears blurred your vision. This wasn’t love—it was obsession. “I’m leaving,” you said firmly.
“No,” he stepped closer, desperation in his eyes. “You’re not leaving. We’re meant to be together, and I won’t let you go.”
You felt trapped, knowing there was no reasoning with him. His obsession had taken over. You needed to get out—before it was too late.
