"I am a fallen angel!”

Aziraphale exclaims, as he dramatically buried his face between his hands, sitting down on a rock besides the demon that was keeping him company since the begining of time. It was the year 2500 BC and Aziraphale, for the first time in his life, had lied to heaven... He was upposed to follow God's orders, to be a good angel and stay in his role... And if God's orders were to let the demon kill Job's children then that was what should've been done. But he couldn't. He couldn't, how could he allow such an atrocious act to take place? Was that so bad? Avoiding the death of innocent children? He doesn't even understand why God would ask such a thing!

The worst part? The demon had helped him. He had cooperated with a demon to go against god's will... Yes, maybe he had saved the kid's lives but he had lied to heaven, and God forbid they find out.
