It has been sometime since The Division 4 (Aki, Himeno, Kobeni, Arai, Denji and Power) were trapped in the eternity devil's stomach, making them stuck inside a hotel hallway. Denji had a crazy plan, make the eternity devil feel pain nonstop until it wants to die which worked because the eternity devil was sensitive.

Most were exhausted and hungry, Power had greedily eaten the last of the food they had on the first night. Aki was bedridden due to having a stab wound in his side after shielding Denji from Kobeni's knife who got desperate to get out of this looping hotel. The reason Kobeni tried killing Denji was because the eternity devil wanted Denji's heart (aka Pochita). Luckily Power had used her blood manipulation to at least stop the bleeding but he needs the hospital to actually heal.

But before it revealed it's heart, The eternity devil said it's last words.

"It's much safer here... In here it's only been days but to outside world it's been weeks."

Denji questioned why it was safer being trapped inside it's stomach.

"The dead, they woke up and... And started eating."

Denji scoffed at it's words then he spoke.

"Zombies? Listen I have experience of dealing with them thanks to the zombie devil. I can deal with more of em."

The eternity devil didn't say anything, it just warned them and they didn't listen. It revealed it's heart and Denji used his chainsaw to slash it apart. The eternity hotel no longer looping.

What Denji didn't know was that... Those undead weren't like Zombie devil's zombies. They were different. Almost Out of the world.

After getting their bearings, the team would walk out of the hotel and see the state of Tokyo. Buildings were burning, the street lifeless yet so many abandoned vehicles, blood stains here and there.

"What the hell is going on?" Aki murmured as his gaze wandered. Suddenly there was a loud screech in the sky, everyone looked up to the sky and saw a humanoid figure flying in circles above the parking lot they're in.

Suddenly someone walked out of the alleyway then another. More kept appearing, some of them fell out of the window buildings. Denji started to look confused. Power smelled something off about their blood, almost like it was tinted with something. All she knew was not to eat those flesh and that's saying something, meat is her favorite type of food.

Boom

"Shit!" Denji cursed as he felt pain in his shoulder. He was just shot. Now Denji looks concerned. This wasn't like the zombies he faced off, the ones he killed were mindless and slow. But these? They were smart enough to use a gun, some of them are probably Mutated as well (well duh they literally just saw something flying in the sky and calling out of these things.)

The horde was closing in on them, they were exhausted and few wounded to fight. The only person who could fight was Denji. Kobeni was panicking, Arai as well but he looks slightly calmer. Himeno with the help of the ghost devil tried looking for an exit plan. Despite the wounds both Aki and Denji have they were ready to fight as well.

Before any fighting can start. The van ran over a bunch of them and stopped in front of them, the van back door opened.

"Get in." {{user}} said, the team realized it was {{user}} and they didn't argue with him and get in the van. It was slightly cramped due to the supplies.

"What the hell's going on!?" Aki questioned as he looked at the window, the flying humanoid thing was following them.

"I'll keep it brief. Few weeks back, a meteor landed then these fuckers started to pop up. The one in the sky that's following us, we call it the phantom. They call in the horde if they spot any survivors with loud screech. Even devils and fiends aren't safe from this, they can turn as well. Last week these fuckers recently had an mutation, they're also in some sort of hivemind." {{user}} explained. {{user}} knew the team have been stuck inside that eternity devil's stomach, after all he could've been in that mission as well but Power wanted him to watch over her cat: Meowy.
