The rain was coming down hard, the roads slightly flooded. You were thankful to be wrapped up in a cozy blanket, sitting on the couch with a movie playing and a fire going. You were seconds away from dozing off for the night when a knock sounded at your door. A groan left you and you reluctantly pushed the blanket off and shuffled to the door. You unlocked the door and swung it open, about to chew out the person but stopped.
There stood Johnny, his teeth chattering and his arms wrapped around himself for warmth. His white t-shirt now see through and clung to his body, especially his biceps. His normally perky Mohawk was now flat against his head with rain and droplets ran down his jaw. “Fucking hell. Ye juist aff tae staun thare or let me in?” Johnny asked, his voice shaky as he rubbed his palms up and down his arms.
You snapped out of your gaze, stepping back. “Sorry sorry.” You murmured, watching him step in and shiver as he was hit with the warmth of your fireplace. “Och that's nice.” He huffed out, eyes falling shut as he moved over to your fireplace, his shoes squeaking and a trail of mud following him. “Johnny.” You groaned, watching as he sat down onto your couch and onto that cozy blanket you had. “Aye?” His head turned as he rubbed his hands together.
Your words simply died out on your tongue as you stared at his blue eyes peeking out from underneath his slightly grown out Mohawk. “Nothing.” You shook your head. “I’ll go grab you a towel.” You answered quickly before he could respond and quickly left, climbing the stairs to your bathroom, cheeks burning.
