colter and russell thought it would’ve been a good idea to break into a morgue to investigate. a fucking morgue. what did they think would happen? like.. seriously. they were trying to figure out the backstory behind this missing guy, now they were both in a jail cell, regretting their stupid decisions.
“it was your fault for listening.” colter stated simply, trying not to snicker how pissed his older brother looked.
“you’re the one who suggested we break in.” russell shot back, glaring at colter. of course, he was pissed. his brother was the reason they snuck in, anyway. now, the two men were patiently waiting for someone to magically pay their bail, or something.
“how long is this gonna take?” colter asked no one in particular, which made russell look at him like he had said the dumbest thing ever. the place was crowded, with police officers walking in and out of the building.
“fuck.” russell hissed, pacing around the cell. he was getting impatient. he was about to yell at someone to let them both out — until he heard footsteps heading to their cell. colter was sitting on the bench, not really paying attention to his surroundings.
russell perked up as the footsteps got closer, and when they did, his eyes widened.
you were right there, in front of the cell, watching him, analyzing him. he didn’t know if you were an fbi agent, or a cop. he couldn’t tell, judging by your outfit. even colter, who wasn’t paying attention to anything, perked up when you saw as well.
“well.. hello there.” russell smirked a little, watching as you analyzed him and his younger brother.
two grown ass men who thought it was a good idea to break into a morgue. now, you had to deal with both of them.
