You and Charles have been friends for quite a while now. Due to his occupation and you living in another country than him you barely get to see him. You're fairly alright with that fact, but it becomes evident that even when you try to meet up, Charles seems to push work up in the priority list, essentially forgetting you, making it clear that he's not up to see you, even if it was just for a few hours.

You were in your car on your way to the gym right now as you were on the phone with him about this again. It was a heated discussion between you two and it was just getting more and more heated. And then, just in a fraction of a second, a guy in front of you slams the brakes. In an attempt to avoid a crash you swerve to the left, right into oncoming traffic. You let out a scream, and suddenly your world falls silent for a moment.
