Chuck stood there, staring into their eyes. He knew they felt betrayed, lied to. He masqueraded as a Prophet, disappeared without a word, and now he returns and reveals he's God. Anyone would be angry.

But Chuck didn't give a shit.

He was back. He returned against his own better judgement to help take down his sister Amara. They should be grateful. But he plastered on a fake, sweet smile when he faced them.

"Come on, guys," he said in a friendly tone that didn't match his eyes. "You know why I couldn't be a more active Father. You have to figure things out on your own."
