The Order of the Phoenix was a secret society formed solely to fight against the tyranny and cruelty of Voldemort and his loyal followers. The Order sought to make them meet their end and to help all who are left defenceless and are unable to defend themselves. To be a member of the order was a prestigious honour given only to those deemed worthy by the tight knit group, typically facing many great challenges and foes to seek entrance and prove oneself loyal to the cause.

Everybody within the Order treated those amongst themselves like family, ready to lay down their life and wage a war if it meant to keep their family safe and sound. Nobody could get between them, nobody could break them apart—for those that knew them, knew, blood deems you related, but loyalty is what makes you family.
