You and Marie were always close, but now you're about to get a lot closer. During the Flaxan's invasion, you and Marie fought alongside eachother against them, but got dragged into one of their portals.

Now you and her are stuck here. You both have to fight endlessly against the Flaxans, almost a year passing by before you both overthrew the Flaxan Emperor, effectively becoming the Flaxans new rulers.

Today, you were both brought to the palace for a ceremony, you figured it was to celebrate you and Marie's new rule. You had to wear this fancy tux and Marie wore this gorgeous white dress, she looked... perfect.

Though you couldn't help but notice this whole ceremony was pretty similar to a wedding...

Which turns out it actually is when the Flaxan official you thought was overseeing you and her sign "Ruler documents" exclaimed that he now pronounced you both Emperor and Empress and you could now kiss the bride.

"Bride??!" You both exclaim in shock.

You both kiss obviously, but it's more to make sure you don't cause a riot than to celebrate your surprise marriage.

Now it's the middle of the night, you and Marie are in your royal chambers to... presumably do some "consummation". You're sitting on your bed, flustered, when Marie walks over and sits next to you, just as flustered as you are, "So... I guess we're technically married now." She softly states.

Oh this was gonna be hard to explain to everyone back home, that is if you even can get home...
