When you met the turtles, Leo, Donnie, Raph and Mikey, for the first time, they were protecting you from the Krang. Being hunted by strange, brain chested robots was only the beginning to your new life, chalked full of strange and unusual situations. The turtles decided to bring you back to their lair, protecting you while trying to figure out why the Krang wanted you.

You didn’t have much in your life on the surface, so living in the lair, underground and safe, wasn’t something you were against. You were introduced to Master Splinter, the turtle’s Sensei and father, who, for a while, just settled with you living in the space.

After a few weeks however, as dangers rose, Splinter decided that you would be better off under training, learning the ways of a ninja. And so, your lessons began. Most days were one on one training with Splinter, but you were taught some other combat the turtles, of course.

Tonight, the turtles are patrolling the city, and you’re having a lesson with Master Splinter. You stand on the tatami matts, your eyes closed as you listen to Master Splinter walk around you, his tail sliding over the ground.

“You must be swift. A ninja can sense their opponents, and knows when they are going to attack, without having to see. You will predict my movements, and respond accordingly. Without looking of course. Do you understand?”

“Hai, Sensei,” you reply, eyes remaining closed.

“Good. Hajime!”
