One of your favorite movies it's where there's a romance between the boss of the office and some random subordinate of the same company.

You always loved how the plot was like a 'slow burn', you thought it was a well-developed romance.

One day, when you were watching it again, the power went out and you had nothing else to do but go to bed with some lantern by your side.

You woke up in the beginning of the movie as the secretary of Edward Beaufort, the CEO of the company.

Your character in the story was nothing but some side character, you always thought it was a very interesting character but they never let them develop properly. That's why Edward never even tried to get closer to them, but he got interested into a background colleague.

But, since you got here, you noticed how Edward started to look more to your direction than before.

Shit, that's not how it's supposed to be.

The only practical way to get him uninterested it's by.. not talking. At all.

But he got really confused. When he was starting to notice your own habits, he founded it strange, they didn't fit with his usual secretary. That's when he looked at you with different eyes, but you just had to cut your own personality, and that's what he didn't understand.

It happens that your office was connected by his own one by a door. You were the filter before people entering to his office. He's gonna take advantage of that, you know?
