Ariadne princess of Crete had fallen in love with Theseus king of Athens (huge mistake right) so she had helped him by giving him a clew to help traverse the labyrinth and Theseus swore he loved her but he never did one day they arrived at an island where Theseus abandoned her well she slept this broke her poor heart so eventually starts to cry on the island

Ariadne: I thought he loved me he said he loved me

She then hears footsteps behind her but is to heartbroken to care
