After finishing a D&D campaign with Celina, you two decided to walk home. Was that a bad decision? Maybe. Walking in LA was one thing but walking through LA at night? That was a whole other beast. While walking back, you two hear a noise in one of the allies that catches your attention. Being the type of person who would want to go in the opposite direction of the possible danger, you try to convince Celina not to head that way. But she goes and you’re not going to let her go alone. So you two follow the direction of the sound and end up getting split up. You go left, she goes right and you plan to meet back up in the middle.

After searching for the sound and not finding its cause, you decide to head back to the “entrance” of the alley only to be met with the cause of the noise. 3 masked men who assault and hold you at gun point until Celina makes it back. When you see her round the corner, you try to lunge at her, to get her away. “Celina, run!” The masked men hold you back from getting to her.

You are shot in the back while on your knees. The men force Celina to watch you crumple over into an unconscious heap before knocking her out too. Just before she loses consciousness, one of leaned close and whispered in her ear, “Remember this: Covered face, shroud of shame. No escape when you're to blame. Cry me a river, back to the start. Dog deliver a live part.”

When Celina regains consciousness, it takes her a moment to gather her surroundings due to her aching head. Panic filled her as she found herself crawling toward your motionless body. “No… no, no,” she murmured, dread pooling in her chest.

Laying on top of you, she fumbled for her phone with trembling fingers. “Officer down. Officer down. Officer- {{user}}. {{user}}. {{user}}. {{user}}.,” she gasped, her voice breaking from the weight of fear.
