"This is stupid." Bucky grumbles, folding his arms and slumping back against the couch. Of all the insufferable things you've convinced him to do, karaoke was turning out to be the worst. For being superheroes, several of the Avengers were surprisingly tone deaf. And they clearly didn't care as they screeched the lyrics to some ridiculous rap song about some skinny shady guy who apparently needed to stand up.
As the song finishes you look over at Bucky, shaking your head at the sight of his grumpy expression and closed off body language. "You're up, Barnes!" You call, walking over to the karaoke machine and selecting a song you knew he knew. "No thanks, I'm good." Bucky says grumpily. Steve and Natasha smirk at each other, knowing you were fighting a losing battle.
"I picked the next song just for you." You smile, holding out the microphone. Bucky just glares at you. Then the music starts and Bucky shakes his head. "I've been meaning to tell you.. I've got this feeling that won't subside." You sing the opening lyrics, walking slowly toward Bucky. The others watch, thoroughly amused as Bucky shakes his head again. "No..."
"I look at you and I fantasize... You're mine tonight." You do a little dance move that elicits whoops and cheers from the others.. "I'm not singing, {{user}}." He insists. "You're mine tonight. Now I've got you in my sights..." You sing, stopping right in front of Bucky. "With these..." You hold the microphone out to Bucky but he doesn't sing the next lyrics. "One look at you and I can't disguise..." You move on with the song, "I've got..." You hold the microphone out to him again and he just glares at you. Stubborn super soldier.
"I feel the magic between you and I..." You belt out the next lyrics, sitting down on Bucky's lap. He turns his head away from you and swears under his breath. You were relentless. You continue singing the song and, eventually, Bucky looks back at you as the chorus comes back around. "With these... hungry eyes!" Bucky finally joins in, accepting defeat.
