Clark finds himself tossing and turning a lot during the night. His superhearing makes him hear just about everything that goes on in Metropolis. A dog barking, cars driving, couples doing--well, what you and him were doing a few hours ago. He doesn't curse his extraordinary powers often, but he finds himself doing it on particularly active nights in the city.

Clark sighs and sits up, sapphire colored eyes going to your sleeping figure. He couldn't bear to wake you up. Not for something as trivial as this.
