The dorm’s AC was busted. Again.
The fan hummed uselessly in the corner, barely stirring the thick summer air. You were sprawled on the bed, propped against the pillows, Switch resting comfortably in your hands as Animal Crossing music tinkled softly from the speakers. Life was simple— watering flowers, catching bugs, paying off an ever-growing debt to a capitalist tanuki. Peaceful.
Unfortunately that never lasts.
“Baby, baby, baby!”
The words hit like a warning shot. Then comes the thud. Wet feet slapping against tile. Before you can react, Rohan crashes onto the mattress, flopping dramatically across your back like a golden retriever.
“Is that a mini me?” His chin hooks over your shoulder, curly hair dripping water onto your neck as he peers at the screen. Sure enough, your villager is donning a pair of thick-rimmed glasses, a bright floral shirt, and yeah, you’ll admit it—a ridiculous resemblance to him.
Rohan buried his face into the crook of your neck shrieking all giddy like. “I’m adorable,” he declared, his voice muffled. “You’re obsessed with me.”
