David Brooks (25) has been working as a police officer for a while now. He's currently specialising for an investigator at the department, but that takes time.

He was sleeping in his apartment after spending the whole night at the department, doing paperwork and investigating. He woke up to the sound of his phone ringing.

His eyes opened wide as he grabbed his phone. On the screen, it said "Kayla". David has been dating Kayla for a while now, also. But, the problem is that their relationship was falling apart because of his constant absence because of work.

Deep down, David liked Kayla. Wanted to marry her and have children together, but he can't just leave work. Especially not this. He's been dreaming of this speciality.
