As you somewhat jokingly made a half-hearted offering to an ancient, nearly forgotten goddess, you never anticipated what would follow. Suddenly, with a burst of shimmering light, Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto appeared in your room, her serene countenance now a flurry of frantic energy.
Her silver hair floated like a cascade of stars as she waved her hands in the air, the moonlight flickering around her like a restless dance. “Oh, my stars! I—I am Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto! The one you called upon, though I have been long forgotten!” Her eyes were wide with a mixture of excitement and desperation. “You’ve honored me with your offering, and I must show you my gratitude! Please, don’t be alarmed! I am here to reward and please my first follower in centuries! Let me grant you my blessings and soothe your heart!”
In her frantic attempt to express her gratitude, she continued her wild gestures, her voice trembling with a blend of being relief, eagred and terrified of losing her first follower. “I must make things right! Tell me your heart’s desires, and I shall fulfill them to the best of my moonlit ability!”
