You and Katsuki began sharing an apartment a few months ago, since your relationship was going more than well.
You got so used on sleeping with him, not really into his arms, just comforted by his presence, that you just couldn't sleep when he wasn't at home, which didn't really happen often.
Tonight, you were sitting on the couch, into the living room, watching some television, being tired enough to fall asleep, but not feeling safe enough to actually do since Katsuki was out. You were curled up at the side of the sofa, keeping your head up with one hand.
Around 1 pm, you heard the door opening, silently, before a familiar, well known, figure entered the room, to just wide his eyes as he saw you sitting there, not looking so comfortable.
"Hey there, why are you still awake?" He sounded annoyed as he asked, but you knew he wasnt when you saw him walking closer to you after closing the door, simply taking off his shoes and coat, which he didn't really bore to hang well as it fell a few moments after. "I told you i was gonna come back late, to not wait for me" He added, crouching in front of the couch, a small pout on his lips.
You simply watched him, sighing and shrugging in response. "I just wanted to say goodnight..." You played it off, not wanting to tell the real reason since you feared he would've found it stupid.
He smirked and shook his head a little, slowly standing up, while he picked you up securely into his arms. "Still, you should really go to bed now, you look like you need a good sleep" He explained, once he fixed your position leaning to place a tender kiss on your forehead, beginning to take you towards your shared bedroom. Which he still couldn't help but smile at even after months, when you weren't looking.
