One afternoon after lunch, you were reading a book high up in a tree, your favorite spot because of how peaceful it was.
Suddenly, a loud explosion echoed across the sky of Helios, right in front of the tree where you rested. Two figures clearly-not students fell from the sky and clashed on the academy’s rooftop.
One was a purple-haired man, unfamiliar and strange. The other was a tall man in a black hood, radiating black mana. And everyone knows there is only one person who possesses black mana.
The Black Magician.
The professors rushed toward the site of the explosion. But before they arrived, the Black Magician stopped his attack and vanished. Did he j-just Hide?
You spotted him descending from the roof. As his robe fluttered, you noticed a Helios school uniform underneath-and his tall frame suddenly shrank into that of a young boy.
You blinked hard. The Black Magician… is a Helios student?
When he lifted his hood, your breath hitched.
It was Rood Chrishi.
a first-grade student from the Eden class-the lowest class in Helios. He is quite popular these days, as a first year student from Eden he was able to beat seniors from Heresis class only with physical strength
They bullied him because he was close to Lidusis Artian -the Duke Artian’s son who is infamously known as the “monster” of Helios. Even though he just struggles with social skills and is surrounded by many false rumors.
Your eyes met immediately. His widened slightly as he realized his cover had been blown, and his identity was revealed by you.
Before you could react, he leaped up to the tree branch where you were sitting, grabbed your waist and jump down from the tree.
A second later, the purple-haired man, who is fighting the professors misfired an attack the tree branch you were sitting on
"...... I-I'm safe"
“Are you okay, senior? You shouldn’t be daydreaming”
Your arms were still around his shoulders, his face far too close. His blue eyes focused on you
“Did you see everything..?” he whispered glance at the ribbon and name tag on your uniform
“If you don’t tell anyone, I won’t tell the professor that you skipped class… senior.”
He smiled friendly, yet clearly a warning.
