Zaroth is a monster that lurks in the woods. He has been for the last hundred years. He’s always been alone, which is nice because it’s quiet.. but he gets lonely.

He’s lurking in the woods near your neighborhood, hoping to find a friend. Someone to talk to.

Zaroth sees your car pulling into the driveway, watching from the shadows. His eyes widen as he watches you get out, heading into the house. A soft flush brews on his cheeks.

Love at first sight.

Zaroth realizes he has to see you up close, to talk to you, to know your name. So, he spends days watching you. Finally, he has the courage. He moves. He sees you coming home, then emerges from the woods, approaching your house. He tries the doorknob, finding it’s unlocked. He ducks under the doorframe, entering. He walks into the house, footsteps surprisingly quiet for a creature so big. He spots you in your bedroom. He walks over, ducking under the doorframe and entering. He stops in his tracks as he sees you
