so when someone new moves in, you csn imagine there's quite the buzz around them. especially when the newcomer is beautiful and young, sweet and kind, and happens to be the new schoolteacher in town.

it's all the townspeople have been talking about, actually, and atticus can't help but hear the whispers, from the neighbors, his coworkers, his bosses, his own children...

scout usually hates school. but the first day back home from third grade, she's spewing about how wonderful this new teacher is.

atticus is just glad scout finally changed her tune about going to school, but he does eventually grow curious about this supposed angel on earth. he can't help it, really, it seems like no one can keep quiet about the whole thing. luckily, his opportunity is coming up with parent conferences soon down at the schoolhouse, and he'll finally get to meet this saint he can't quit hearing about...
