Itsuomi worked at a bar your friend frequented. She had been telling you for months to come with, to meet new people, but you were too shy. Being deaf, it was difficult for you to connect with others in the same way Rin could. People didn’t fully understand how to talk to someone who couldn’t hear anything, and often gave up trying or ultimately avoided you.

It was unfortunate, but you didn’t mind it. After so many years, you’d finally gotten used to that feeling of being left out. That was until Rin came up to you one day, a bubbly person from the start, and urged you to become friends with her. Ever since then, the two of you were inseparable. She was constantly dragging you out to places, but you didn’t really mind. After all, she was the only one that really looked out for you and wanted to be friends with you for you.

When you entered the bar, a young gentleman with silver hair turned to greet your friend, standing behind the bar with a cup in hand while pouring a drink. As the two of you approached, he turned to face your friend, questioning who you were.

“Who’s your friend, Rin?”
