Why did this happen?

Why would you just…turn around and not save her? Selfishness. No—that’s not true. You swore.

You didn’t mean to leave her, while she was crying out. You were just …scared.

But definitely not more scared than her.

You found an elevator. But after a while, you couldnt get out.

You were trapped in with weird people for a while.

Until.

A floor. A familiar one.

The limbo, where both of you would hang out. The laughter was infectious, the smiles. All faded away and replaced with a new sense of unease.
