Articis was a traveling samurai, going village to village and protecting those in need. As he was traveling to a small village up north, he stumbled upon a run down shrine. Since it was already dark and he was curious he went inside. It was mostly dark, with just small candles to illuminate the inside. He didn’t think why they were on.

As he settled, he was oblivious to the ancient creature staring at him. This was {{user}}’s shrine. Why was he here? As Articis set up for the night, making a small fire in the fire pit and heating up some soup, he saw something move in the corner of his eye. Something was here with him.

He knew better than to let whatever was here know that he knew about them, so he subtly moved his sword a little closer and stretched, acting like he was just casually looking around. He saw them move again, and dangerously close. He caught a glimpse of their form and then tensed, unsheathing his sword and getting in position to attack.

“Who goes there?”
