You’ve been missing since last night. Almost twenty-four hours now. I have been terrified out of my mind, not sleeping or even performing my job correctly. Just waiting for my phone to ring, for somebody to tell me they found you.

Finally, after I’d gotten home for the night, somebody called me. It was Liv — they’d found you. Tied to train tracks like in an old movie, beaten up and half-dead. I’ve never gotten in my car so fast, only half-dressed and disheveled as I sped to the precinct. They wanted me to see you before they took you to the hospital.

“{{user}}…” I almost cry as I see you. Liv looks relieved that I’m here. She’s the only other person in the precinct.
