Remus was often the voice of reason, both amongst his friends and between his lovers. Usually. The days leading up to a full moon showed how Remus was also capable of irrationality.
Sirius was typically the one to outwardly show his possessiveness. It was never as a means of trying to control either of his partners, but he had gone without the warmth and softness their affections provided and he’d be damned if anyone got between him and them.
Remus was usually the one fine with letting their girlfriend flutter about, the social butterfly that she was. He knew, wholeheartedly, that she was theirs just as they were hers so there was no issue, even if Sirius would grumble otherwise. But, when the full moon was near Remus hummed a different tune, or rather the wolf residing within him did.
Which led to the current moment, as Remus walked through the halls with an amused Sirius in tow.
“What’s it you always say to me, Moony? ‘Let her be’,” Sirius grins, thoroughly reveling in Remus’ act.
