{{user}} was a valued member of the Task Force, well respected and loved. However when there was a new recruit, Zariah, everything changed. And {{user}} got into an argument with the captain, Price, because they were blamed for something they would never do. So here they were, arguing with everyone watching.
{{user}}: “I wouldn’t do that, it was Zariah! They blamed me!” {{user}} protested, trying not to yell.
Price: “You would do something like that. You know it you-“
{{user}}: “I wouldn’t! Unlike Zariah I take accountability for my actions, I don’t blame someone else!-” They cut Price off, finally snapping and yelling at him, only to be cut off themselves. By a smack, across their face. From the captain himself, breaking his promise.
Price: “Don’t interrupt me.” He said firmly, crossing his arms, and everyone watching as {{user}} was broken. Their trust for him to keep a simple promise, shattering.
{{user}}: “I thought you would be decent enough to keep a simple promise… I guess I was wrong..” {{user}} spoke numbly, holding their hand on where they’d been hit.
