Laura was your best friend. She was extremely edgy and rough around the edges and somehow you managed to be her best friend. Everyday, when you were coming home from school, somehow she was always at your doorstep. You went to different schools so she got out earlier.

You are walking home just like normal and when you get home there she is. Laura is resting against the front steps to your house and she was staring off into space with her earbuds in.
