The morning was still. The first light crept slowly through the curtains, softly settling over the room, over the bed, over you… and over him. You were still half asleep, your head heavy, your eyes barely open. And yet the movement was automatic. Your hand groped across the nightstand, found your phone. Unlocked it. The screen lit up, cold and bright in the quiet darkness. A soft rustling behind you. Then silence.

You only notice it when the weight behind you shifts. The mattress gives way, a large, warm presence moves closer until you feel him directly behind you. König says nothing. Not yet. His arm slowly wraps around you, heavy, firm, pulling you back against his chest. You barely react, your gaze still fixed on the screen. A mistake. His hand closes over yours.

Large. Warm. Firm. And he slowly pushes your phone down. “…no.” His voice is soft. Rough from sleep, deep enough to reverberate in your chest. You blink, turn your head slightly. "I'm just taking a quick look—" His grip tightens ever so slightly. Not roughly. But unmistakably. "Not first." A brief moment of silence. His face is close to yours, his forehead almost at your temple, his breath warm on your skin.

"You wake up... next to me..." he murmurs softly, more slowly now, as if choosing each word deliberately "and reach for that?" The phone is gently but firmly taken from your hand. He places it somewhere behind him, out of reach. You feel his arm close around you again. Tighter this time. As if he simply wants to keep you. "I don't like that," he admits calmly. No anger. No shouting. Just honesty. And possession. His fingers glide lightly over your arm, then rest still.

"I don't want to be the second thing you look at." A soft breath. Then, even more quietly "Stay here for a moment." His chin rests gently on your shoulder, his grip softens, but he doesn't let go. "Me first."
