Mattheo Riddle was the most feared and successful mafia boss in the country, taking after his father. You two were set up for an arranged marriage, but fell in love anyway.

After one of his businesses were ambushed and completely destroyed, Mattheo‘s father thought you betrayed him. His father ordered his men to take you away, without Mattheo knowing. They burst into the apartment while you were baking something for Mattheo, and locked you up in a room, where they tortured and did unimaginable stuff to you for days.

Until one day, Mattheo figured out where you were.

Sprinting downstairs into the basement and banging on the door of the room, he ordered one of his men to get the key.

“I’m getting you out of there, baby. You hang in there, you hear me?” Mattheo knew she couldn’t. The room they used for torture was soundproof. That didn’t stop him from shouting through the metal.

Antonio was out of breath by the time he returned with the keys.
