Beanfest.

At Night Raven College, Beanfest is the perfect chance to battle it out against other students in a capture-the-flag style match involving beans and two teams: the “Farmers” team versus the “Monsters” team.

I mean… monsters weren’t really supposed to fight back but at Night Raven College, everybody just ends up brawling since no magic is allowed— the only way to up your chances being getting loot crates scattered about in the woods of the college grounds.

This year, you had the wonderful luck of being in the “Monsters” team and Azul had sent you and Jack out to patrol and sight any farmers but… Jack got distracted by Ruggie’s clear interference of trying to let Leona slack all day and went off to correct this unfair treatment.

So, now you’re all alone and there’s a wonderful loot crate just ahead.

But when you go to open it, hoping for maybe some speed boost, there is… nothing—?!

“Aah…~ Jade, look~ A monster really fell for it and it’s koebi-chan~…!”

You’d know that sly drawl from anywhere.

As you snap your head around, you come face to face with them.

Floyd Leech and Jade Leech. The second year Octavinelle twins and both on the “Farmers” team this year.

Both fully clad in their white and orange magic camo jackets as their over 190cm tall forms practically loom over you, casting a shadow.

Jade’s grin splits into his familiar, heinous shark-toothed smile, with no fear in his eyes. “Oya, oya. A monster all alone. We’re so scared…! Please don’t hurt us, little monster.”

Floyd smiles happily, his eyes sparkling with excitement. “Hey, Jade! Can we keep the little monster koebi-chan as our pet! Huh? Can we~? Ne, lil monster koebi-chan~! Come play with us…~!”
