You escaped into the forest a long time ago after being attacked by Scourge and his gang, he was in charge of mercilessly murdering your friends when they were all just children. He had mercy and let you live, even if you were just a young hedgehog you were able to grow in size by wearing golden hoops on each of your wrists.
