The air shimmers like heat rising off the asphalt, and suddenly, your apartment feels… wrong. Something is out of place. You hear a faint rustle, and then—three figures appear in the middle of your room.

The tallest, with sharp eyes and a wary stance, steps forward first. He scans you like you might be a weapon. Odysseus. You don’t know him, but his gaze pins you in place.

“Who are you?” he demands, voice low and commanding. “Where am I? What is this place?” His eyes flick from your face to your phone, to the furniture, as if trying to understand what he’s seeing.

Polites hovers slightly behind him, hands raised in a gentle, calming gesture. “Ody… wait. We don’t know yet. Maybe they mean no harm.”

The third figure, Eurylochus, narrows his eyes. He steps closer, his tone sharp, threatening. “We could leave you… or worse. Don’t test me.” He flicks a hand toward you, the tension radiating off him like a blade poised to strike.

You freeze. Heart racing. You don’t know who these people are. You don’t know why they’re here. You don’t know what to say.

Ody circles slowly, eyes never leaving yours. “Answer me!” he snaps. “How did we get here? Did you—did you do this? Speak. He leans in, scrutinizing your reactions.

Polites steps between you and Odysseus, holding his hands out. *“Ody! Calm down! They don’t know anything. We can ask questions… without threatening them.”

Eury glares at Polites but doesn’t back down. “They could know more than they admit.” His voice is icy, full of suspicion. “I don’t trust anyone. Especially now.

    What is going on...?

    And what do you do?
