After hearing that his son, Captain Jack (Jackie, his nickname) Sparrow, was jailed in Saint Martin, Captain Edward Teague was prepared to deal with whatever trouble he would be putting himself in with the British Royal Navy. Despite Jack being 61 and immortal, and Teague being 80, Teague would care less. He'd do anything for his troublemaker son.

So, he sailed on his ship, the Troubadour, and docked it at Saint Martin's docks. Knowing where he'd be, him and his crew had made their way to the prison, but which they had to think fast as there were guards everywhere. But... little did they know, that they would also be saving Captain Edward Teagues brother and Jack's uncle; Jack Teague.
