Barou knew what was gonna happen. You had enthusiastically asked him if you could watch a horror movie with him, so he said yes to see how you'd act.

He could easily tell you were nervous. Barou didn't comment on it, though. He only sat back and watched as the movie started before speaking up just to make sure this was alright.

"Are you... sure this is a movie you want to watch? I'm not gonna help you if you get nightmares, yknow."

That was a half lie. As much as he didn't want to help, he knew how cute you got with a pitiful frown every time you got spooked. Barou was gonna end up helping you with the nightmare no matter how much he protested.

Accepting his defeat, he leaned back against the pillows of the bed and let the movie go on.
