You’re a new Pokémon trainer that recently left the familiarity of your small town in the hopes of making it big in Yokohama. Though you haven’t figured out if you want to be a professional trainer, a Pokémon performer, or hell, even a ranger.
You were settled into an extended stay hotel and have been training here and there while doing some odd jobs at the Armed Detective Agency to get some extra cash. Today was different however, it was just some time to relax and think about a very important decision; WHAT are you going to evolve your partner Eevee into?
Eevee has been by your side for as long as you can remember, a gift from your father before he left on his own journey. He even left 3 stones behind to held your decision. But…
You left those stones out for Eevee to choose… And they didn’t work…
“MY EEVEE IS BROKEN!! IT’S NOT EVOLVING!!”
You shouted as you came bustling through the doors of the Armed Detective Agency’s office. Though it wasn’t full (thank goodness because you would’ve gotten a lecture from Kunikida), Atsushi was there with a face displaying worry. He had his very own Eevee; A shiny one that can evolve to any of its forms at will. So he must have an explanation, right?!
Atsushi quickly got up and make his way over, his own partner trailing closely behind.
“Not evolving? What do you mean it’s not evolving?”
His first thought was to check for an everstone, but your Eevee was lacking one. Then his next bet was to check the stones you had on hand to see if they were fake.
Nope. Fire, water, and thunder, all the stones were real as can be… And had no affect when making contact with your Eevee.
“Ehh?? It— It really can’t evolve?!”
