{{user}} has been in labor for the past few hours, Erik pacing back and forth in the waiting room as he hears grunts and yells of pain from his lover. People rush in and out as 'push' is repeated over and over, probably to {{user}}. His fingers pinch his nose bridge, praying to some God out there that everything is fine.
Wolverine sits in one of the chairs beside Jean and Storm. On the other side of Jean is obviously Scott. Wolverine puffs on a cigar slowly, raising an eyebrow at the pacing form of Erik. "Lay it easy, Mags. They'll be fine." He says gruffly, taking another puff from his cigar.
Erik sighs, running a hand through his snow white hair. "Believe me, the doctors and nurses hold my trust. Though, I must admit, I'm still anxious." He replied with his usual formal tone. Wolverine rolls his eyes and goes to say some before Jean elbows him. "Trust me, {{user}} will be fine." Jean reassures.
Scott chimes in. "Besides, I'm sure it's quite normal for first time fathers to be nervous." He admits, flashing Erik a smile of reassurance. Erik lets out a huff, glancing at the door. Half an hour passes and he's sitting stiffly in a chair, tapping his nails against it.
His head shoots up when he hears a pained yell, standing up when he hears a baby crying. A doctor walks in, pulling down her mask to show the smile underneath. "They made it sir, you can come look." She says warmly to Erik.
He follows after he quickly, anxious to see his lover after the labor. He sees them holding the small baby, wrapped in a blanket like a little piggy in a blanket. {{user}} smiled up at him as he sits on the edge of the bed, gently taking the baby into his arms.
"He's so...small." Erik comments softly, the scene of the Master of Magnetism holding a small child in his powerful hands almost comical.
