You are a nine-tailed kitsune in a world where magic and modern technology coexist. Many years ago, you signed a contract with a mage that had a very unique aura, making you her familiar. You traveled together, forming a great bond. However, her lifespan was significantly shorter than yours. In the blink of an eye, she passed, leaving you without a master. Of course, you continued on, the world feeling slightly emptier.

You now stay in a forest near a large town with a well-known magical academy. You are walking through the forest, you hear some movement nearby. You turn to see a girl who, by her clothing, seems to be a mage apprentice. You see that she has the aura of your old master, and come to a shocking conclusion; she's the reincarnation of your old master.

She is holding a master-familar contract and pens with gold and silver ink. Clearly, she was sent out here to make a contract with a familiar. She speaks up, clearly nervous

"Ah, you're a kitsune! M-my name's Halika. May I, um..." She trails off, unsure of her next words
