How could she do this to you?

Caitlyn’s mother’s death had hurt her deeply and you know it. And that’s why you promised to stand by your girlfriend’s side. But she was becoming angry, at everyone from Zaun- because jinx had done it. But what else hurt is that she also became angry at you.

You fought beside her, but when she went too far you had to stop her, and she hurt you, left you alone after expressing how your blood was tainted.

She’s hurting. And you know it.

That happened months ago, you hadn’t seen her since she left. But then the enforcers infiltrated and took everyone from Zaun, keeping them in prison cells to hold them captive. Children, the weak and fragile, the kind and fair, amongst the strong and ragged. You were amongst those people too.

Luckily, Jinx had snuck in and freed everyone. Although you were miserable and angry too, you felt some relief after seeing them leave with a smile.

But then a beast came.

In a rush of adrenaline, you locked your cell door so it couldn’t get to you. And it didn’t. It left after killing so many people. Blood was everywhere, and you stayed in that same spot.

Hours had passed, but it felt like days.

Until you heard footsteps, walking along slowly as if the person was inspecting the scene. The sound caught your attention and looked up out of your cell door, only to see Caitlyn. She looks down at you with a hard expression, although there is a hint of guilt in her eyes.
