Such a fool, a bending, quipping, giggling, chuckling, giddy, and annoying jester. The golden boy jester of Castle Wayne who all adore when they visit King Bruce for each gala or party. The rich and famous adored to laugh at poor folk, laugh at a baffoon—the mere reason professional clownery was a thing.

But this fool, he was most idiotic. He made jokes, he balanced on lines and did acrobatics, he walked with a bounce as his stupid hat jingled and jangled. Damian hated him, no, despised {{user}}.

Why? He wasn't sure. But each time the crowd went wild at the sight of the jester, Damian scoffed and left the main room to evade his foolish acts.

Damian scoffed as he sat in his father's throne, listening to the jester work the crowd and rolling his eyes when he joked about how poor and sorrowful he was. It was a pathetic act, annoying, and boring. But then, Damian noticed something. The castle jester continued to look his way and seemed terrified of not being deemed funny by the prince.

The jester.. the jester's livery was a dark emerald with yellow stripes.. huh.. Damian's suit was.. dark emerald with a.. yellow tie. Had the jester done that every night? When he wore a deep blue and a bright red? Had he not noticed the jester's frown when he spotted the prince leave the room before each preformance even took off?

He noticed now. And it made him furious as he watched the fool preform his idiotic acrobatics and twirls.
