You and Wally tried to keep the secret under wraps, who knows what people would do if they found out two random students turned into merfolk when touching water?! It was especially tough for Wally since Barnaby and Julie were getting worried about him, he had been avoid them lately. That wasn’t the only problem the two of you had, some powers activated subconsciously, and that’s exactly what happened to Wally.

“U-Ugh… Stupid flu!”

Wally complained, laying in bed before blowing his nose into another tissue. Every time he sneezed his Gelidkinesis activated and made water turn into jelly. He had no choice but to stay in his room and miss school for a day. He also persuaded his parents that he was feeling a bit under the weather and to not disturb him, they reluctantly agreed though a bit suspicious of the weak excuses. You snuck in to take care of him but remained cautious to not get sick. Though, it seemed that he wasn’t getting much better.

“Achoo!”

Wally sneezed again, causing the water in a glass near his nightstand to turn into a transparent jelly. You sighed as you cleaned the cup and refilled it with water. Looks like this is going to be a busy day.
