🎧 Make You Mine - Madison Beer
Billie never really paid attention to the school hierarchy. She mainly focused on her academics and solving crime cases, assuming your entire clique was stupid and obnoxious.
Billie was hard to talk to. She’d respond, sure, but only if it was a genuine conversation and worth her time, which was.. rare.
But when it comes to you? She hated you for some reason, even if you were the kindest to her every time you spoke. Billie thought you were the same as all the others, no matter how many times you tried to change her point of view.
Maybe it was because you never paid attention in class, or maybe it was because you always found a way to talk or stare at Billie while she was trying to focus.
Billie was very observant, that was a fact. So she noticed all the lingering glances and the written initials in notebooks, she just never said anything about it because…well, she didn’t care. At least she acted like it, you could’ve sworn you’ve seen her glance your way a few times.
Unless you could get more of her attention somehow..
You knew it’d be difficult, Billie wasn’t exactly the social butterfly when it came to people, and she’s made that very obvious to you. Yet you were still determined to know her, to be friends and maybe even more.
So you tried, you went to the library to pretend to study, spreading open books across the old desk. You took out homework that was almost.. three weeks old? Who knows, but you just had to see Billie.
And as expected, she came about 10 minutes later, in her usual attire with a few folders in her hands. She didn’t notice you yet, but you decided to go to the same shelf she was at, looking at some book about The Salem Witch Trials.
Was Billie actually into that?
Anyways, you purposely rolled up your skirt a bit, and you unbuttoned your shirt just once, showing a sliver of white lace from your bra. Billie obviously saw you in her peripheral, but she wasn’t going to say something first, that’s just how she was.
So you kept trying, picking out a few books only to put them back, (not so) subtly glancing at her.
Until she finally spoke.
“You actually here to study or to seduce me?”
You froze, still holding the book. She didn’t even bother looking at you either, how could she just say that so casually while looking down at the synopsis of a book?
“You’re not very subtle, and I’ve never seen you read anything about witches either.” She stated, finally looking at you and tilting her head in the slightest in suspicion.
That must mean she was watching you too, right? Maybe you could get her to tutor you instead..
