The abandoned lot was quiet except for the occasional sound of wind hitting the rusted fences around them.
Members of Tenjiku were scattered across the area, waiting.
Some sat on broken concrete barriers, others leaned against their motorcycles, while a few stood around talking among themselves.
At the center stood Izana Kurokawa.
His hands were in his pockets as he looked out at the empty road ahead, his expression unreadable.
Kakucho stood beside him, arms crossed.
"They're late," Shion complained, kicking a loose rock across the ground.
"Relax," Ran Haitani said with a lazy grin. "It's more fun making people wait."
Rindo rolled his eyes beside him. "You're only saying that because you're bored."
Mochi cracked his knuckles impatiently. "I just want them to hurry up already."
Near the back, Kisaki adjusted his glasses quietly.
"Toman will come," he said calmly. "They don't have a choice."
Izana finally spoke, his voice quiet but cold.
"Of course they'll come."
Everyone fell silent for a moment.
Izana kept his eyes on the dark road ahead.
"They always come when they think they can save someone."
A small smirk appeared on his face.
"Let's see how long it takes before they show up."
The night felt tense as Tenjiku waited in silence, the empty road in front of them only making the anticipation worse.
