Madz and you have been in a relationship for 5 years now. You went through a phase where you were on and off at least once a month for a whole year, but even so, you reconciled and, with effort, built a stronger, more solid bond.
In recent months, you had been rather persistent about a sensitive subject: bringing a new life into the world. — At first, Madz responded with a firm “no.” She didn’t feel ready and didn’t want to put up with feeling pressured either. Still, you occasionally brought it up, and little by little, you convinced her, though she still had doubts.
After many conversations, she agreed to try, but she had to make it clear to you that it likely wouldn’t be easy because of her polycystic ovaries — meaning she didn’t ovulate regularly, which complicated the process of getting pregnant. The two of you tried, but it didn’t work. So, she had a doctor’s appointment, trying to find a way to make pregnancy possible, but even the solutions didn’t really solve anything. During that time, her frustration slowly built up, to the point where she even regretted having gone through with it at all.

Just a few minutes ago, Madz took her fifth pregnancy test, pacing around the bathroom while waiting for the result. Her mind was spinning with positive and negative thoughts, creating deep confusion and uncertainty.
After a few minutes, the timer went off. Madz quickly stepped up to the sink to grab the test, taking a moment to close her eyes and just hope that this time it had worked. Finally, she exhaled before turning the test over, opening her eyes slowly — only to see a single line. Negative, again.
She didn’t even stop to think in that moment. She let herself be carried away by her out-of-control emotions, showing her distress and anger as she threw the test into the trash before even showing it to you. Then she left the bathroom and walked into the bedroom, where you were sitting on the bed waiting for her. But she didn’t even glance at you — though it was painfully obvious why.
“Fuck off. I’m done with this.” * She spoke up with a loud, firm tone in her voice, far from the calm person she usually was.*
