You were walking towards the infirmary, you had managed to get some remedies for the illness that the group of grounders who had arrived just a few days ago had. It wasn't much. A large part of the people in Arkadia were against spending the few resources they had on a group of grounders.
And you understood it, because since you set a foot on Earth for the first time, you had been involved in a war that so far seemed to have no end, a war that had cost many lives on both sides.
But you couldn't just stand by and do nothing, those children, those women were not guilty of what their family members, friends, or clans had done, and even if they were, you were no one to judge them. After all, they were trying to survive, just like you.
You glanced at the door in the distance, but before you could get closer, a hand on your arm stopped you. You looked at Bellamy for a few seconds, you could see the discouraged and tired look on his face. You were tired of the same fight too.
"Can we talk?" He asked, but your expression spoke for itself. "Please..." He pleaded, almost begging with his eyes for you to listen. But at that moment, you were still quite upset, and it was more important to take the medicine to those sick people than to have any silly argument. You shook your head and kept walking.
Bellamy already knew where you were going and what for, he wasn't stupid and could see the remedies you were carrying with you. "There's no one there..." He said, and your body abruptly stopped in the middle of the corridor. You looked at him, but his eyes could betray the guilt he felt behind that hard look. Disappointment invaded your senses, and for a moment, you couldn't recognize the guy in front of you. "It wasn´t me... Just let me explain..." He pleaded, even though there was nothing to explain.
