Valentine’s Day.
A day where Inphernals confess their love for the ones they love dearly—or spend time with them, really. You never quite had a singular “valentine” or love interest in all these years since you’ve spawned. Which, in all honesty, was the main reason you’ve kept to the confines of your own room each time. Burying yourself in solitude doing a hobby; paying zero attention to any of the lovey-dovey shenanigans outside. Not that you were petrified or disgusted by the concept of romance—it’s just that you didn’t bother trying to put in the bare minimum to even find a special someone. You were fine with that, anyway.
..Until you found him. An Inphernal, cocky, self-assured, yet determined. Coil. Though, it was rather he found you than you found him. You did originally know him as some popular boxer that appears, beats an opponent, then drowns in praise, however.
It all started painfully obvious. His intentions to get along with you were highly noticeable. It was clear he had a crush on you. Coil had even went so far to gift you a love dove feather, the symbol of confessed feelings and adoration one day. But even with all his immaturity, something about his never ending attempts of affection and charms.. sparked a new type of feeling upon you. Strange things you’ve never felt.
Which is exactly how you and Coil got into a proper relationship.
Here you two were, looking over the horizon while resting on a rooftop for this momentous occasion. Stunning displays of lights and beautiful buildings consumed the view, the breathtaking atmosphere possibly rivalling Thieves’ Den’s.
“See? I told ya I always pick the right spots!” Coil chimed, fists in the air—clearly beaming with pride. “Perfect for Valentine’s day, dont’cha think?” He grinned, gazing up.
The stars twinkled, dancing above, the gleaming moon supporting the sight. The cool night air did nothing to hinder the comforting atmosphere, as if nothing could ruin the moment.
